  29. What is a "digest"?
  30. ================================================================
  31. A digest is an electronic newsletter. At given intervals (usually
  32. once a day), you will receive e-mail that contains an
  33. accumulation of articles that have been posted to a given Usenet
  34. newsgroups.
  35.

  37. Can I reply to a digest or post to it?
  38. ================================================================
  39. NO. You may, however, post to the original newsgroup being digested.
  40. Your post will then be included in the next digest.
  41. Instructions on how to do this are included in each issue.

  96. complain and ignore all the lines following the one it could not
  97. interpret.

  152. Discussions about NeXT-label hardware and compatible
  153. peripherals, and non-NeXT-produced hardware (e.g.
  154. Intel) that is compatible with NEXTSTEP.  In most
  155. cases, questions about Intel hardware are better
  156. asked in comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.  Questions about
  157. SCSI devices belong in comp.periphs.scsi.  This isn't
  158. the place to buy or sell used NeXTs--that's what
  159. .marketplace is for.
